What makes something sacred?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 11, 2009:

All of life is sacred, all that life offers is sacred. What makes it sacred is our conscious awareness that all relationship with life is an opportunity to Be Who You Really Are! 

Sacred: Entitled to reverence...

Reverence: Honor, respect, felt or shown> profound adoring awed respect.
