Letting go!

It seemed like a good time to clean house here. Leave groups/pods that I have never ever really used. To take people off my "friends" list that I have not had any communication with in Months, and very little before that.
If you wish to be on my Friends list again please ask... If I don't remember why you are on my list, if we have not had any communication other then in the beginning than you have been removed...

It is sort of sad and also freeing at the same time. Sad because at the time of 'friending" there most have been something that attracted us together, that contact and communication made, connection over it seems... sorry if it was on my part, life's paths verge and shift... Freeing because now I can move unincumbered with out worry that I need to communicate or look for your response or comments that never come.

Groups and pods for me have been a very uneventful experience, I met a few "friends" who continued from that space but mostly not.
I can not for the life of my follow the path discussion of pods/groups... it is all to convaluated... if it worked like email, or if message/post where posted to the person and item they were discussing the topic would be easier to follow.

Spring cleaning! I completely understand. Don't take me off, please; I like following your entries. :)

Also, did you know you can 'subscribe' to your Groups? If you visit your 'Settings' page (in the 'Me' tab in the side bar) you can arrange to have an email be sent to you whenever someone posts in a Group you're a part of. Or, you can have a digest sent out once a day. There are options to make discussions work more like email!

Siona, Thank you for understanding! No Siona, I did not take you off, you are a source of “real” Gaia information…  Thank you for the suggestion, I know that I get some email, maybe not all…

Yes, Stacey, you made the grade. There is something about your “tude” I like, plus you are a friend of John's!

LB, My dear friend, you have stayed on my list as well, Bless you…

Bless you all…

Funny thing is I have had 20 views of this blog yet only three people commented and I have notice this before. So the question begs to be asked, “if a person comes to view your blog why do that not pop a message, simple, thank you or dislike this or, f u or something?

I only leave comments on about 1/10 (perhaps less) of the blogs I read. Sometimes I don't feel I have anything to add, sometimes I'm not sure what to say, nor what the writer wants, sometimes I don't want to interrupt, and sometimes it's easier to send just an energetic blessing of love and warmth than to struggle to find words for what can't be said. And I'm not one of the shy ones! There are all manner of reasons. Some people are just more 'writerly' than others. :)

Thanks Jeff for this blog and beautiful photo.
So Siona can we have something like “♥” where sometimes we don't know what to say but we like to have our presence felt so we will click on “♥” on a blog entry and then it will list it as, say, Samme Samareta ♥ this blog entry by Jeff Stroud?

Good idea, because I read blogs and comments others made and they've already said what I would have said.  So we can leave some evidence of ourselves with a “V”.  That would work.  I sometimes see I have had 60 views and only 1 or 2 comments.

There's a Buddhist teaching about not being attached to outcome.
I try to remember that when I post a blog, because in the long run, it doesn't amount to anything, except disappoint at not getting a hoped for outcome.
I always enjoying reading your blogs and comments;  sometimes I miss people's blog because I am away or sick.  Either the attraction and interest is there, or it's not.  It's all ok in the end, isn't it?

mimi,

so true! and when ask these type of questions it means that I am not centered and I am looking for confirmation or affirmation, from someone or something outside myself…

Bless you!
