Where do you feel most free?

Posted on Jul 1st, 2009 by Jeff : messenger Jeff
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 01, 2009:

Behind my camera... observing the world through the lens and photography...

While offering and or exchanging energy doing a Reiki energy session.

While drumming in sacred circle,

While journeying within a sacred circle.

While in meditation, letting go of all outside sources of information...

I can be free anywhere at anytime if I allow ego to walk beside me to share in the dance of awareness and awaking but not to push and shove... Allowing Essence to shine and Be, than I am free....

Of course he got four weeks vacation... which we all would travel the country in our van, camping, sight seeing... visiting far away relatives...
I was to young and to unaware of who my father was or may have been at that time...

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 08, 2009:

I am sure that I don't have all the answers, and that life is an ever expanding evolution of discovery of wisdom, of knowledge, of awakening, of sleeping in meditation or journeying...
I am sure will never know it all, the path to re-discovery is so amazingly wondrous...

What is the difference between wants and needs?

Posted on Jul 20th, 2009 by Jeff : messenger Jeff
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 20, 2009:

Every thing we need is present "right now" here in this very moment. It is our thought of want that is causing it to be a need, or not having...

If we are grateful for each moment, each breath, needs and wants vanish...

Needs and wants are an illusion of humanity... created in thought or not enoughtness
an illusion of separation of the source... we are not separate from our source we only live in the the illusion that we are...

I have everything ever wanted or need right this moment, yes the moment will change and I may imagine something else...  and manifest that, for my creature comfort as a human...

Solar Eclipse

Posted on Jul 21st, 2009 by Jeff : messenger Jeff

Hi there...
For those of you who are interested in how the energies are moving,
there are opportunities for huge change coming up soon. We are
about to experience the longest, most powerful solar eclipse of the
21st Century on July 21 (7:35 p.m. Pacific time) at the final degree
of Cancer. Eclipses represent a profound shift in direction... Freedom
is imminent at this eclipse... a death knell for the old ways. If you're
clinging to old emotional, familial or societal patterns, it's time to let
them go.

We are about to experience the longest, most powerful solar eclipse of the
21st Century. It happens on July 21 (7:35 p.m. Pacific time) at the final
degree of Cancer. Clocking in at six minutes, 39 seconds, it will be visible
throughout Asia (though felt everywhere). Lynda Hill's book, The Sabian
Symbols as Oracle, describes the degree of this portentous event as, "A
Daughter of the American Revolution - Being bound by social conditioning
or leading the charge to break down the barriers of tradition.

"A Daughter of the American Revolution" is an appropriate image for a
New Moon eclipse in Cancer, sign of tradition and old familial structures.
The final degree of a sign is a "last gasp" of that energy, a death knell
for the old ways. Eclipses represent a profound shift in direction; a total
eclipse of the Sun (masculine) by the Moon (feminine) symbolically
indicates that outdated, patriarchal structures are falling away, to be
replaced by more intuitive ways of being. The life-giving flow of
motherly love is nourishing the hearts of both women and men, if we
only open ourselves to it.

The revolutionary Sabian image reminds me of my ancestor, Joseph Hewes,
who signed the Declaration of Independence. Hewes was a crucial, if largely
unknown, instigator of the American Revolution. According to Wikipedia, "a
Moses of his day who led his people to freedom." A Congressman from North
Carolina, Hewes campaigned for a break from English rule, despite ongoing
scorn and ridicule from his peers. The girl he loved died a few days before
their wedding, and he never married (he is my great-great- great uncle; my
grandfather bore his name). Hewes channeled his grief into the fight for
independence, breaking with his family and Quaker roots in the process. I
am deeply inspired by this courageous Aquarian man, who "broke down
the barriers of tradition" to achieve a greater goal.

Freedom is imminent at this eclipse. If you're clinging to old emotional,
familial or societal patterns, it's time to let them go. The New Moon trine
freedom-loving Uranus supports a break with the past, as we gather our
courage to birth something new. Jupiter joins with "Wounded Healer"
Chiron in progressive Aquarius within 12 hours of the eclipse, offering
an opportunity to heal old wounds. It's a potent time to honor the deep
feminine within yourself, as well as to recalibrate relationships between
men and women.

Because Venus (the feminine) squares Saturn (limits) at the eclipse, we're
also setting boundaries in relationships, especially with family members
and partners. The planetary energies support you in saying a decisive
"No" to what's no longer working for you, and nurturing and respecting
yourself at a deeper level. Even if you must break with others or their
expectations to claim your freedom, remember Joseph Hewes' message:
There comes a time when we have to act based on what we know is right.

The day after the solar eclipse, the Sun slides into sunny Leo for a much-
needed period of self-expression, creativity and play. We've been in an
intense phase of change since the unsettling July 7th lunar eclipse in
Capricorn/Cancer. Another lunar eclipse on August 5th in Aquarius/Leo
challenges us to balance our egoic impulses with the needs of the group.
After that, things should settle down for a bit. A larger revolution is
coming in 2010-2011 as rebellious Uranus enters fiery Aries to square
volcanic Pluto. The July 21 solar eclipse should alter the landscape in
some fundamental way, shaking us free of the past and laying the
groundwork for what is to come.

What could someone do to make you happy?

Posted on Jul 22nd, 2009 by Jeff : messenger Jeff
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 22, 2009:

"Someone" does not have to do anything to make me happy. Happiness is an inside job, one that you choose to be, not the effect of having something or someone doing something...

Happiness is a state of Being, not a state of Doing....

How would you describe your self-esteem?

Posted on Jul 23rd, 2009 by Jeff : messenger Jeff
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 23, 2009:

Who me self-esteem? What the heck is that stuff? Is that like humility? Hmmm let me see...

Once again these are human characters or defects that seem to cause us to chose to be happy or not... To pursue action and being that reflects our Higher Self...

My self - esteem has been healing from being bruised and battered by my need to be understood, accepted, heard, even touched while I lived in community...

Two years later I am now beginning to push past that place... Knowing that the natural gifts I have been given where honed while in that state of chaos and change....

Self-esteem like being happy is an inside job, yes validation of who you are offers me insight that I am headed in the correct direction or I am not...

All I have to know is that God Loves me... That I am Love...

What helps you be creative?

Posted on Jul 26th, 2009 by Jeff : messenger Jeff
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 24, 2009:

I do not think there is one thing that informs me of my creativity when it comes to photography... Nature is the inspiration... and a quote from a film that I was watching last night, "finding or seeing the beauty in the ordinary".

The 'eye' is an inner gift I did not know I possessed, and has been awakened by nature spirit sharing her beauty, in the everyday....

Do you believe honesty is always best?

Posted on Jul 28th, 2009 by Jeff : messenger Jeff
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 28, 2009:

Honesty is always best! Best of all involved... it is how honesty is expressed that is or could be the cause of hurt and confusion.

The truth spoken from love, express with love, shared with caring to be of enlightening rather then just bluntly resounded from reaction...

Love is always honest....

What would you like to give more time to?

Posted on Jul 29th, 2009 by Jeff : messenger Jeff
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 29, 2009:

Unfolding
A more balanced experience of my daily life, of play, of work, of friendships, of being and giving healing... It is not about giving more time to One thing, it is about (for me) giving the "right" amount of time to create the harmony that allows life to sing, and dance while being present for all the glorious unfolding of my daily life...

What is your community like?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 31, 2009:

It seems that no one received this Question & Reflections question... I had to go search for it myself...

So the community is missing in action at the moment...

At the moment, I am only living on the fringe of Community...
