This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 23, 2009:
Who me self-esteem? What the heck is that stuff? Is that like humility? Hmmm let me see...
Once again these are human characters or defects that seem to cause us to chose to be happy or not... To pursue action and being that reflects our Higher Self...
My self - esteem has been healing from being bruised and battered by my need to be understood, accepted, heard, even touched while I lived in community...
Two years later I am now beginning to push past that place... Knowing that the natural gifts I have been given where honed while in that state of chaos and change....
Self-esteem like being happy is an inside job, yes validation of who you are offers me insight that I am headed in the correct direction or I am not...
All I have to know is that God Loves me... That I am Love...

Help

Sometimes we have to go through some pretty hard times before we wake up to who we really are. It sometimes is a hard climb but when you a summit you can stop for a moment and look back and see where you'll came from, before you continue on. God loves you and it's important to know that.
Thank you…
Yes, I realize the climb was hard… now taking the wisdom and gifts to share with others as they journey…
When I read that God Loves me in CwG the first time… I knew for the first time it was true… it is not that I had not heard it but at that moment, the lights came on, the path open up, my heart broke open, and all heck broke loose…
Jeff I've found that I make much more progress when I keep myself away from myself.. ie: More often than not I'm my own worst enemy. But I digress, God loves each and everyone one of us…

This was a powerful statement of yourself, Jeff. I was like a beautiful and refreshing storm that blew right through me. I could feel strength in it as I took it for mySelf too! Thank you, thank you, and thank you! You ARE love and so am I.
Self concept is how one sees ones self .self esteem is how we feel about what we see. So much of self love is based on our ability to love others, nature ,etc and to maintain ones self as an invitation to Grace. Not to Try to fix and change ourselves and others but to be an invitation to the GIFT /Grace that fills the cosmos. That is an idea from BioSpiritual Focusing that I credit for all the peace, joy and love i experience in my life. Good Spirits to all!!
